CHARITY WORK

We are passionate about working with Sri Lankan charities.
I am a proud contributor to Resilience: Recipes from the Sri Lankan Diaspora – a new downloadable cookbook compiled by @polboy.ldn featuring recipes from chefs, cooks, and restaurants representing the Sri Lankan diaspora across the UK and Australia.
The cookbook is aiming to raise funds for vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka to support them during the country’s ongoing economic crisis. We hope to harness the spirit of resilience through the recipes held onto by the diaspora to generate funds that hopefully provide relief and support to ordinary Sri Lankans who have shown resilience against all odds during an unprecedented economic crisis. 100% of the profit made from sales of the cookbook will go to @communitymealsharetrust. Community Meal Share is a collective that aspires to bridge the gap between the privileged and underprivileged in Sri Lanka.
If you are able to contribute, please DONATE using the link HERE and you will receive a copy of the e-cookbook to your chosen email address.

During lockdown we co-hosted a charity cook-along for the Amelie & Daniel Linsey Foundation

David Linsey, director of the foundation:
“Rosheana is a wonderfully talented and even more generous chef. She arranged a charity cook-along to raise money for the Amelie and Daniel Linsey Foundation to buy medical supplies for Sri Lanka. She captured our audience’s attention and was such a clear instructor that even the most culinarily-challenged guests managed to produce a delicious hopper. After dedicating her time and effort to our event, Rosheana then decided to donate all of the revenue from her supplies to our charity, funds which came out of her own pocket. Thank you Rosheana for your excellent food and giving heart.”
