Fantastic evening with Hop & Roll at their supper club at Beast of Brixton. A real treat to have authentic Sri Lankan food in London. The hoppers were delicious and the mutton curry was amazing. Great atmosphere - would highly recommend!

Amazing authentic Sri Lankan food by a very talented and friendly host. It was great to see a demonstration before we ate and no one left hungry. Also delicious welcome cocktail.

A massive thank you to Rosh and Hop & Roll for excellent catering at our office Christmas party! The food was delicious and Rosh and her team were an absolute joy to work with. The hoppers were tasty and fresh. Everyone at the party (vegans and meat-eaters alike) absolutely loved it!

I wanted to get my mum something a little different for Mother’s Day and she loves her home made currys as she is always trying out different ones so I came across hop and roll and thought it would make a fab present for her. I was worried as I ordered it quite last minute (the week of Mother’s Day)and worried it wouldn’t get to my mum in time but it did and arrived 2 days before Mother’s Day even better!so my mum was over the moon on Mother’s Day for her gift! She’s going to use it when we can socialise again and can have some friends in the garden and will be cooking up a Sri Lankan feast! I can’t wait! Have always found it hard to find good Sri Lankan food here but this kit solves the problem. If you’re looking for a fun activity plus some delicious hoppers then look no further. We enjoyed following the instructions (easy to do) and making our meal (we also made a curry to go alongside). There was loads left over for brunch the next day too! Thanks again Hop and Roll!

In "Far Eastern Odyssey" Rick Stein describes hoppers as "great fun but sadly not easy to do" - fear not however, because these Hopper kits take away the problem and allow you to make amazing, crispy hoppers ideal for delivering the eggy mix with the sambols of your choice in a really painless way. Best enjoyed where everyone gets to make their own, swirling the batter around, pouring in the egg, and then decorating them with sambols and chutneys to create flavour.

This was incredible. The rapidly increasing popularity of Sri Lankan cuisine in London in recent years has been a joy. But I never would’ve thought making delicious hoppers at home on demand whenever the craving hits would be possible. For one, it needs a few simple yet essential things to come together. Thankfully Rosh has put all these together in a neat bundle, available at your doorstep. The instructions are clear, and Rosh was super responsive on doubts/questions. We had a lovely Sunday brunch and look forward to an equally lovely Monday breakfast. Don’t miss this kit. 👌🏼

I've never made hoppers before and was excited to finally find an all-in-one kit (I got the Christmas hamper that came with pan, hopper kit, potato curry kit, sambol kit, and fish rolls). I'm a rubbish cook but determined to learn to cook Sri Lankan food. Despite all my doubts and reservations, we managed to make some absolutely delicious egg hoppers with very tasty sides. It all turned out so well. The fish rolls were so nice!! I bought a second hamper as a gift and was glad the kits come so nicely presented. A nice touch that Rosh emails afterwards to check everything has gone well.

Buying my chef husband anything to do with food is always tricky...he knows it all etc... But he was genuinely excited to open the hopper kit! Relief! We spent the evening in the kitchen making the devilled potatoes and the Pol Sambol....and of course fermenting the batter! Paired with a delicious curry that hubby rustled up it was a delicious evening! Possibly our best lockdown meal and something we could both get involved with! The instructions we super clear, ingredients perfectly portioned and the flavours spot on.... We even used the left over batter to make breakfast Dosas the following morning. Highly recommend.

Got a kit as a Christmas kit and had a super Sri Lankan feast! All the food we made was very authentic and instructions were really easy to follow - it really took us back to travelling in Sri Lanka - would definitely recommend 😊

I have bought the entire starter kit and have gone back to buy two more hopper kits. These are such brilliant inventions. Perfect hopper every time. Parcels delivered promptly and in cute boxes. Would recommend strongly to all hopper lovers!

I ordered two kits, one for me and one for my best friend on her birthday. Such a great activity to do together (but apart) in this lockdown time we find ourselves in. My best friend has fond memories of time in Sri Lanka and this kit was perfect reminder of her holidays. The kit came in a timely manner, well packed, presented and with easy instructions of a selection of cocktails to make! The owner also popped in a birthday message which was an added bonus. Glad I found these!

Bought as a treat to have on Valentine's Day. It was all packaged beautifully and well protected, with very clear instructions. We tried the Aliya and Mohito, both of which were amazing! Great to try something a bit different, I highly recommend you give them a try!

I bought this as a Valentine's present and it worked out really well. I'll be honest, I winced a bit at the price of the arrack cocktail kit but it's definitely worth it. It came beautifully packaged and well-presented. The mini bottles are lovely and look really good. It was also a big surprise, definitely not your usual present, and arrack can be hard to come by. As usual, communication and updates from Rosh were brilliant, such a reliable service. Lastly, the cocktails tasted great, would highly recommend.

Loved loved this kit, arrived on time and extremely well packaged. For a bit of fun we had a Sri Lankan curry evening and I ordered this as a surprise for my husband. It advertises as 4 cocktails so you could have one of each on the recipe card but they are big measures so we split into 2 and so far we have each had the Aliya and the Mojito which was plenty as the curries may not have made it to the table otherwise!! Looking forward to the other two next weekend, real treat in lockdown and reasonably priced as well.
