Petra Barran, Founder of Kerbfood

Rosh is a powerhouse. Exactly the kind of spirit and spark we look for in a Kerb trader. Her commitment to getting Londoners and beyond eating the real deal Sri Lankan food knows no bounds and watching her keep on driving Hop & Roll forward – from street food to meal kits – has been a real inspiration. Many may give hoppers a whirl, but Rosh lives and breathes this food and aren’t we all luckier for having her here?

Dom Fernando,

Owner of Paradise Soho

My team and I tried Rosh’s food from Hop & Roll at St Katherine’s Dock whilst we were researching the Sri Lankan food scene in London. We scoured the city from East to West to seek out different dishes and flavours – and Hop and Roll stood out for us as one of the best street-food meals that we’d tried. From the crispy hoppers (which are challenging to make on a gas stove in the wind) to the fragrant curries – it was clear that Rosh was making something born from passion and love.
